• TMI telemedicine service will facilitate scheduling a videoconferencing appointment with one of our world class medical consultants located at the different affiliate hospitals.
• You will have your own personal electronic medical record that will include all relevant medical data required for your consultation. The data will help the consulting doctor to understand the problems and provide a proper treatment plan. This file will include medical information such as laboratory tests, medical images (x-rays, CT, MRI..)
• Your encrypted secure electronic medical record will be forwarded to the doctor you choose for a medical second opinion consultation. This will allow the doctor to have a good idea what your problem is before going live with a videoconference session. Transfer of files is HIPAA compliant ensuring privacy and security according to international standards.
• After the Live Videoconferencing session you will receive a DVD recording of the session and a short concise report from the consulting doctor.
• You can repeat this procedure with different doctors at different hospitals or you can follow-up with the same doctor.
• Your local treating physician is encouraged to attend the videoconferencing session.
